A Little Bit About Me
I am a self-employed author, writer, and community educator. I am very down-to-earth and somewhat laid-back. I am fair, easy going, open-minded and honest. I strive to please Allah and remain balanced. I have my 4 youngest children all under 18 in my care. (Of the three who reach adulthood, 2 survives, my teenage son went back to live with his mother) I attend the masjid regularly and have established my salaah while teaching my children and others the deen. I am the Arabic teacher and the Acting President of the Board of Directors at my masjid as well as a teacher of African-American history and African Study courses I have developed through my community-based organization.
